A prophylactic inspector killed in Almazar district

The incident occurred while an internal affairs officer was on duty. The killer fled from the scene.

According to the Tashkent city DIA, on November 30 at 00:50, the prophylactic inspector of Almazar district DIA, senior lieutenant N. Bobomurotov arrived at Galaba mahalla in the district on an urgent call. While performing his lawful duties, the police officer was assassinated by a 30-year-old man with a previous conviction. The killer fled from the scene.

It is noted that N. Bobomurotov died on the spot as a result of bodily injuries inflicted.

“A criminal case has been opened by the Tashkent city prosecutor’s office under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (“Intentional murder”).

Khayot Shamsutdinov, the head of the PGO information service, added that a rapid investigation team consisting of qualified and experienced employees of the Prosecutor’s Office and internal affairs bodies has been formed, and all necessary measures are being taken to arrest the person suspected of murder.
