Japarov signs law on ratification of border agreement with Uzbekistan
The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed the law “On ratification of the agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and Uzbekistan on certain sections of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border, signed in Bishkek on November 3”.
The law was approved by Jogorku Kenesh (Supreme Council) on November 17, 2022.
This agreement concerns the 302.29 km long sections of the Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan border and plays an important role in ending the border disputes between the two countries.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov announced the details of the agreement.
