Explosion occurs in a hospital in Kashkadarya

There were reports on social networks that an explosion occurred in the health rehabilitation hospital located in the city of Karshi. The regional DIA information service confirmed the case.

Reportedly, on the morning of December 24, 2022, in one of the rooms on the second floor of the regional hospital located in the “Ravoq” mahalla of Karshi city, the gas pressure increased and an explosion occurred.

Consequently, two citizens were injured and hospitalized. Also, the building’s second floor has become completely unusable.

On December 24 at 7:00 a.m., the DIA duty unit No. 4 of Karshi city was informed about the incident.

It is noted that a criminal case has been initiated under Article 259-1 of the Criminal Code. Currently, investigations are underway.
