Citizens in Uzbekistan spend $61 million on import of EVs over 11 months
In January-November 2022, Uzbekistan imported 1,912 electric cars worth $61.3 million from abroad.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the import of electric cars increased by 1,223 compared to the corresponding period of 2021.
China took the first place among the countries where Uzbekistan imported the most electric cars in 11 months of this year – 1,675 units.
This indicator appeared as follows in the section of the remaining countries:
• the UAE – 111 units;
• Germany – 56;
• Hong Kong – 42;
• Lithuania – 10;
• Korea – 7;
• other countries – 11.
