Uzbekistan provides Turkmenistan with modern ambulances
The 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations was celebrated. Turkmenistan handed over a batch of free of charge liquefied gas to Uzbekistan.
Based on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan and based on close brotherly ties, friendly assistance was exchanged between the two countries as a sign of mutual respect, UzA reported.
In particular, Uzbekistan sent 20 modern Volkswagen Caddy ambulances to Turkmenistan. A batch of liquefied gas was delivered from Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan.
Ceremonial events were held at the “Shavat” border customs post, which connects the Khorezm region with the Daşoguz region of Turkmenistan.
Earlier, it was reported that Turkmenistan would provide liquefied gas as “compensation” for natural gas supply interruptions to Uzbekistan, which was presented in the Turkmen press as “friendly and fraternal assistance to the neighboring country”.
