Spain may start attracting labor migrants from Uzbekistan
The Foreign Labor Migration Agency under the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment of Uzbekistan held negotiations with the representatives of the competent ministry in this field in Spain.
While evaluating the work done in the field of foreign labor migration in Uzbekistan, the Spanish side said that the creation of all opportunities for safe and orderly work activities in foreign countries for the citizens of Uzbekistan is considered one of the positive indicators of developing countries.
Expressing gratitude for the presented detailed information, they noted that there is a sufficient level of potential to establish cooperation relations between Spain and Uzbekistan in the field of external labor migration. It was also announced that they are ready to provide assistance in finding companies in the agricultural and construction sectors to attract Uzbek labor migrants to the Spanish labor market.
An offer was also made to organize a visit of the Spanish delegation to Uzbekistan in order to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the organizations, as well as to get acquainted with the preparatory processes before sending labor migrants abroad.
