Two new banks registered in Uzbekistan
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has registered two new banks and issued them licenses to carry out banking activities.
According to the press service of the regulator, a decision was made by the Board of the Central Bank to register Apex Bank joint-stock company in Tashkent and issue a license for the right to carry out banking activities.
The Hayot Bank joint-stock company also received a banking license.
“By a resolution of the board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a decision was made to register the Hayot Bank joint-stock company in the city of Tashkent and issue it a license for the right to carry out banking activities,” the report reads.
