A rapist being prosecuted in Kashkadarya 

The press service of the Supreme Court reported that a 52-year-old man raped and impregnated a 13-year-old orphanage student in Chirakchi district, Kashkadarya region.

According to a report on the social network, the man adopted 8 children, impregnated one of them, a 13-year-old girl, and forcibly aborted the fetus, but the trial has not yet been held. The Supreme Court announced that a criminal case has been initiated.

K.T. (born in 1971 in the Kashkadarya region) is accused of having committed the crimes described in Article 129-2 (making obscene acts against a person under the age of sixteen) and Paragraph “a” of Article 118-3 (raping) of the Criminal Code. A preventive measure in the form of imprisonment has been used against him and on April 7, the Chirakchi district court on criminal proceedings will consider the case.

In accordance with the requirements of Article 19 of the Criminal Procedural Code (public consideration of criminal cases in court), this criminal case will be considered in a closed court session.
