Criminal case initiated against individuals who sexually abused a minor girl and took money from her in Kashkadarya
A girl living in Chirakchi district, born in 2006, was sexually assaulted, it was recorded on video and threatened to spread the image.

On April 24 of this year, the Children’s Ombudsman received an appeal from O. Yu., a resident of Chirakchi district, Kashkadarya region.
In the appeal, it was reported that a minor girl B.B. (born in 2006) living in Chirakchi district was sexually assaulted, it was recorded on video and threatened to distribute the record. The Children’s Ombudsman took this situation under her observation.
It was found out that in July 2023 Sh.Kh. sexually abused B.B., and it was filmed by another person, J.M., in the phone. Later, J.M threatened to distribute the video and extorted money from the girl, but after that he continued to threaten and extort.
On this fact, B.B. (born in 2006) applied to the district DIA on March 30, 2024.
Forensic medicine, criminalistics and biological expertise were appointed as part of the pre-investigation check.
On April 8 of this year, a criminal case was initiated under Article 118-1 (Defamation) and Article 165-1 (Extortion) of the Criminal Code through Article 25 (Preparation for crime and attempt to commit a crime).
Currently, the criminal case is being investigated. It is under the supervision of the Kashkadarya regional prosecutor’s office, and the Children’s Ombudsman continues to monitor it.
