Uzbekistan increases footwear export
Over the first two months of 2023, Uzbekistan exported 3.4 million pairs of shoes worth $7.9 million to 9 countries.

The value of footwear exports increased by $2.4 million compared to the same period last year, the Statistics Agency said.
Countries to which Uzbekistan exported the most footwear in January-February 2023:
- Kyrgyz R. - 1.5 million pairs
- Kazakhstan - 1.3 million pairs
- Tajikistan - 484 thousand pairs
- Azerbaijan - 59 thousand pairs
Provinces that exported the most footwear to foreign countries during the reporting period:
- Andijan region - $4.6 million
- Fergana region - $1 million
- Samarkand region - $758 thousand
- Khorezm region - $511 thousand
