Citizen of Uzbekistan confesses to murder of his 19-year-old wife in Russia
The police were called to the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in St. Petersburg after a man came to them with a confession.

According to Fontanka, a young man arrived at the consulate checkpoint on May 11 at about 10:00 and said that he had killed his wife, and her body was in a rented apartment in Murino.
“A police squad detained a 22-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan at the consulate, who is in St. Petersburg illegally. He was taken to the police department, where he told the story about the murder of his wife,” the report says.
Employees of the criminal investigation department arrived at the apartment and found the body of a 19-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan there. She was presumably strangled.
