China Visa Application Center opens in Tashkent
The Chinese visa center has opened in the capital of Uzbekistan.
“From May 16, 2023, applicants with a passport of Uzbekistan, as well as other countries, who plan to obtain a Chinese visa (including a Hong Kong visa) must apply to the visa center,” the Embassy said in a statement.
In order to apply for a visa, it is necessary to fill out a visa application form and receive an online entry through the website of the visa center. Applications without registration will not be accepted.
Along with the visa fee and the expedited processing fee on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan, the Visa Application Center also charges a service fee.
It is noted that the visa center is not involved in the process of considering a visa application. The staff of the consular department of the embassy decides on the issuance of a visa, the duration of the visa, the length of stay and the frequency of entries into China, depending on the specific situation of the applicant.
Consular officers may require additional supporting documents from the applicant or conduct an interview with the applicant.
