Uzbekistan increases EV imports
Uzbekistan is importing electric vehicles mainly from China.

According to the Statistics Agency, in January-April 2023, 2,544 electric vehicles were imported to Uzbekistan from 9 foreign countries for a total of $81.3 million.
This is more by 1,815 units (almost 3.5 times) compared to the same period last year.
In April 2023, Uzbekistan imported 876 electric vehicles.
Over the past 4 months, EVs have been imported mainly from the following countries:
- China - 2,278;
- Hong Kong - 202;
- Germany - 32;
- UAE - 16;
- South Korea - 9;
- USA - 4.
