Tashkent hosts charity festival with participation of embassies (photos)

Tashkent hosted the XIX Festival of Cultural Traditions and National Dishes with the participation of representatives from more than 20 embassies accredited in Uzbekistan.

At the festive event held on May 27, representatives of embassies presented the national dishes of their countries, including exotic flavors unique to their cuisine.

The festival, where national music and costumes of different peoples of the world were also presented, was open to the guests.

According to the organizers, this festival is a charity event; all the funds allocated by sponsors and sales of national food will be transferred to orphanages.
