Rental prices up in Tashkent

According to them, in May this year, the real estate market was marked by an increase in activity. If in April the number of purchase and sale transactions amounted to 20.2 thousand, then over the month sales increased by more than 26%, and the number of transactions exceeded 25 thousand.
The number of transactions for the purchase and sale of housing in relation to May last year increased by 28.5%.
Over the month, the cost of renting apartments in Tashkent has risen in price by 0.9%. The relatively high cost of rent per 1 sq. m. was noted in Shaykhantakhur ($11.5), Yakkasaray ($11.3) and Mirabad ($11.8) districts. At the same time, by May last year, the average cost of renting housing in Tashkent increased by 8%. Since the beginning of the year, the average rental price has decreased by 12.1%.
The pace of growth in the cost of housing in the secondary market in Uzbekistan has accelerated. If in April the growth of the average cost of housing per 1 square. m. was 1.7%, then in May the cost of pre-owned ones increased by 2.5%.
Compared to the same period last year, average prices for pre-owned real estate in the capital increased by more than 27%.
