New mineral structure discovered in Surkhandarya

It is predicted that the discovered structure may contain gold and polymetals.

Employees of the state enterprise "Institute of Mineral Resources" under the University of Geological Sciences discovered in Surkhandarya the presence of a new mineral structure rich in malachite.

The mineral structure was discovered during field research within the framework of the state project “Cosmo geological research at a scale of 1:100,000 in the territory of Southern Uzbekistan”.

The area is expected to be rich in gold and polymetals.
