57 people suffer from food poisoning in Jizzakh

Social networks spread news that 44 citizens had food poisoning in Jizzakh region. The regional prosecutor's office provided official information about the incident.

It was found that on June 25-26 of this year, 57 citizens applied to the regional infectious disease hospital with complaints of diarrhea and high body temperature.

According to the conclusion of the preliminary laboratory examination, the citizens were diagnosed with "acute diarrhea" food poisoning, and all were admitted to the hospital for medical treatment.

11 patients were treated and sent home, 46 patients were found to be in a satisfactory condition.

During the pre-investigation check conducted by the Jizzakh city prosecutor's office, it was found that the patients had eaten in one of the canteens in the city of Jizzakh. Relevant experts have been attracted to test the samples of food products taken from the same canteen and  all patients. 

According to the official information, the regional prosecutor's office has been controlling the pre-investigation check activities.
