President orders to dismiss governors of 2 cities and 10 districts
Their activities are investigated by the Prosecutor General's Office.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired a videoconference meeting on additional measures to further expand investment attraction.
At the meeting, the implementation of foreign investment planning tasks planned at the beginning of the year was considered.
Within this year's investment and regional programs, major milestones were set for the absorption of a total of 20 billion dollars of foreign investments.
As a positive experience in this regard, it was noted that in the past six months, more than 50 million dollars of direct investment was brought to Andijan city, Bulokboshi, Romitan, Gallaorol, Forish, Karmana, Davlatabad, Chust, Kattakurgan, Sirdaryo districts.
As a result, a total of 50,000 new jobs and an additional income of 1 trillion soums appeared in these districts.
However, in Amudarya, Kurgantepa, Bukhara, Mirishkor, Chirakchi, Khatirchi, Payarik, Akaltin, Gulistan, Akkurgan districts, Navoi and Yangiyul cities, these indicators were criticized as being unsatisfactory and the investment environment unsatisfactory.
The President issued an order to dismiss the governors of these districts and cities.
The Prosecutor General's Office and the Chamber of Accounts were instructed to investigate the activities of these governors and ensure the rule of law.
