Athletes from Uzbekistan secure 17 medals at World Para Athletics Championships in Paris
Uzbekistan national team members bagged 6 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze medals and took 8th place in overall team standings at the World Para Athletics Championships.
From 8 to 17 July, the World Para Athletics Championships was held in Paris. The national team of Uzbekistan successfully performed in it and won 17 medals.
Thanks to this result, the national team secured 8th place in the team standings.
Another important point is that Uzbek athletes won 19 tickets to the 2024 Paralympic Games which will also be held in Paris.
