Uzbekistan increases chocolate imports
In January-June 2023, Uzbekistan imported 19,700 tons of chocolate and cocoa products worth $62 million from 36 foreign countries.
According to the Statistics Agency, the volume of chocolate and cocoa product imports increased by 957 tons compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported chocolates mainly from the following countries:
- Russia - 13.8 thousand tons
- Poland - 1.9 thousand tons
- Ukraine - 869 tons
- Netherlands - 613 tons
- Kazakhstan - 589 tons
- Türkiye- 526 tons
- Belarus - 181 tons
- Lithuania - 156 tons
- Germany - 136 tons
- Italy - 98 tons
- France - 69 tons
