AIIB allocating about $250 million loan to improve water and sewage systems in Bukhara
The loan is provided for 25 years with a grace period of 5 years.
In order to improve drinking water and wastewater services and ensure their stable supply to the population and business entities in the Bukhara region, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank is providing a loan of $248 million for 25 years.
The total cost of the water system improvement project in the region is $248.40 million.
The share of Uzbekistan in the implementation of the project is estimated at $32.85 million. It will be provided in the form of reimbursement of value-added tax and customs benefits.
