“All sick children in Namangan recovered and returned home” – Minister of Health

All children hospitalized in the Chust district (Namangan region) with drug poisoning recovered and returned home, the Minister of Health Amrillo Inoyatov reported.
“All the children who were poisoned in Namangan recovered and were sent home today. None of the children are in serious condition,” the Kun.uz correspondent quotes him as saying.
According to the minister, the case of mass poisoning of children in Namangan has been thoroughly investigated. “All questions will be answered soon”.
Earlier, it was reported that 450 complaints about the disease among children were received in Namangan, the largest number of them – 306 – in the Chust district, 143 recovered, the rest are under constant observation, their condition is not serious.
The Ministry of Health ordered to immediately stop using the drug “Potassium iodide 1 mg (0.001) tablet No. 100 (Antistrumin)”, which caused a deterioration in the health of dozens of children in Namangan, until the issuance of laboratory results.
