Tariffs for cold water expected to increase in Tashkent
The price of 1 cubic meter of drinking water for the population is expected to increase by 3.5 times.
Due to the sharp increase in expenses in the water supply system, the price of drinking and sewage water services in Tashkent is expected to increase, the Tashkent City Water Supply LLC said.
In particular, proposals were sent to the Tashkent City Council of People’s Deputies on setting the price of one cubic meter of drinking water at 1,400 soums for residents and at 3,000 soums for legal entities. Prices for wastewater are expected to rise to 1,000 and 2,200 soums, respectively.
"Based on the decision of the Council of Deputies, additional information will be provided about the date of the increase in water and sewerage prices," the report said.
