An individual attempting to sell counterfeit 40 million soums detained in Tashkent
A citizen wanted to sell 200 counterfeit bills of 200,000 soums for 18 million soums.

During an operative event held by the Yashnabad district PGO Department in cooperation with employees of the SSS and the DIA, citizen E.Kh. was caught with material evidence when he sold 200 counterfeit bills of 200,000 soums to citizen A.D. for 18 million soums, the information service of the PGO Department for Combating Economic Crimes reports.
On the above fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 176 of the Criminal Code (forgery of money, excise stamps or securities, their transfer). Currently, an investigation is underway.
