More than 184 thousand marriages registered in Uzbekistan over 9 months
In January-September 2023, 184,461 marriages were registered in Uzbekistan.
According to the Statistics Agency, 93,771 marriages were recorded in urban areas and 90,690 in rural areas.
Also, over the past nine months, 716,885 live births were registered in the country, which is more by 5.1 percent compared to the same period last year.
The agency noted that 371,597 of the newborns were boys and 345,288 were girls.
