In the Chust district, it is planned to develop 1,000 hectares of unused land.
The delegation of Uzbekistan, led by deputy governor of the Namangan region Botirjon Nuritdinov, is on a working visit to South Korea.
During negotiations between representatives of the delegation and the mayor of the city of Buyeo, Park Rong Hong, the parties agreed to take relations between the regions to a new level, speed up the implementation of previously agreed upon projects, create a working group for project management and develop a roadmap.
As a result of the meeting, agreements worth $10 million were signed between the Namangan region and the city of Buyo, providing for the establishment of tourist and cultural ties, the development of 1,000 hectares of unused land in the Chust district, and the creation of a logistics center for processing, packaging and export of agricultural products in the city of Namangan.
It should be noted that Namangan occupies a special place in the development of relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea. This year, delegations from a number of South Korean cities will visit the region on a working visit. The negotiations that took place create the basis for the implementation of new projects.
