Officials who looted the public coal detained in Namangan and Fergana
In Namangan and Fergana, warehouse managers who looted coal allocated to the population were detained. Earlier, in three districts of Andijan, individuals who looted the coal allotted to the population were arrested.
According to the information of the Prosecutor General’s Office, during one of the control activities conducted by the prosecuting bodies in connection with the distribution of coal to the population, it was identified that the manager of the Uchkurgan district coal warehouse under the jurisdiction of the Namangan regional branch of “Kumir ta’minot” LLC, U.N, looted 623.7 tons of coal intended for distribution to the population at a preferential price during the autumn-winter season.
In the case of Fergana, the manager of the Buvayda district coal warehouse under the jurisdiction of the Fergana regional branch of “Kumir ta’minot” LLC, A.I., prepared false information about the fact that citizens received 1364.3 tons of coal worth 413.8 million soums, intended for distribution to the population at a preferential price in the autumn-winter season. Then he sold the coal for cash and made illegal profit.
On the above facts, criminal cases were initiated, and the warehouse managers were detained in procedural order. Currently, investigations are underway.
