Raids being carried out in Tashkent to improve crime situation

Large-scale operational and preventive measures are being carried out in Tashkent to improve the crime situation, the press service of the Tashkent City DIA reported.
“In order to prevent crimes, strengthen crime prevention and ensure the safety of citizens, the Tashkent City DIA and law enforcement agencies are carrying out operative-preventive measures to improve the crime situation in the capital,” the report reads.
Earlier, the mass media reported that over the past week, raids were carried out against dozens of representatives of the criminal world.
According to reports on the networks, representatives of the criminal world were arrested. It was noted that the detainees are being held in a temporary detention center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Their actions will be assessed based on the results of investigative actions.
