Law enforcement officers start investigations against “Salimboy”
Investigative actions are being carried out against businessman Salim Abduvaliev, known as “Salimboy”. Kun.uz sources confirmed the news.
Salim Abduvaliev is the deputy chairman of the National Olympic Committee, the chairman of the Sports Wrestling Association of Uzbekistan.
Also, sources in the internal affairs bodies did not confirm reports that Gofur Rahimov is wanted.
The law-enforcement bodies of Uzbekistan arrested the persons known by the nicknames “Bakhti Tashkentsky” and “Saidaziz medgorodok” in Tashkent, as well as MMA fighter Humoyun Tokhtamurodov in Fergana. They were engaged in illegal acquisition of funds by means of threat and use of force.
Earlier, Kun.uz, relying on its sources, reported that large-scale raids against “street criminal groups and dozens of representatives of the criminal world” were being carried out in Tashkent.
