A video showing a Russian blogger climbing to the top of the Tashkent TV tower’s forbidden part has been circulated on social networks. The administration of the TV tower told Kun.uz that the incident happened in 2022.
According to the administration, the blogger who climbed into the forbidden part of the TV tower is a citizen of Russia, and the video was recorded on his GoPro camera.
The blogger entered the tower building to dine in the "Alvon" hall – the restaurant part of the TV tower. Then he climbed up by special ladders used by scaffolders in life-threatening situations and shot a video from the top of the tower.
After the video went viral on social networks, many questioned the security system in the TV tower building. Some social network users are in awe at the blogger’s bravery, some are accusing him of breaching the rules.
The blogger noted in his Instagram Stories that the Tashkent TV tower administration asked him to delete the post.
