The visit will include high-level talks in Tashkent and the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council, chaired by the two presidents.
The talks will focus on further strengthening strategic partnership and allied relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
The two sides are also expected to discuss ways to increase bilateral trade, expand cooperation between businesses and regions, make better use of transport and transit opportunities, and deepen cultural and humanitarian ties.
Mirziyoyev and Aliyev will exchange views on current international and regional issues, as well as cooperation within multilateral organizations.
The talks are expected to result in the signing of a number of important documents and the launch of new economic and humanitarian projects.
A forum bringing together the regions of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, along with other joint events, is also being held in Uzbekistan ahead of the visit.
