Citizens of Uzbekistan may officially find employment in Canada
Citizens of Uzbekistan can now look forward to official employment opportunities in Canada, as discussions to establish connections between private recruiting firms of the two nations have taken place. The Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan, Behzod Musayev, and Canada's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan, Alam Hemson, met to explore this substantial development.
The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction reported that the meeting centered around fostering collaboration in the labor migration sector and devising mechanisms for attracting Uzbekistani citizens to the Canadian labor market. This collaboration aims to not only reduce poverty but also to expand employment avenues for Uzbeks internationally.
The discussions also ventured into establishing direct contacts between private recruiting companies from both countries, streamlining the process for Uzbeks traveling to Canada, and addressing related visa acquisition issues.
This promising initiative signifies a landmark moment for both countries, potentially opening new paths for skilled workers from Uzbekistan to contribute to and benefit from Canada's diverse and dynamic work environment. It also serves as a model of bilateral cooperation that can aid in elevating employment rates and bolstering economic links.
