Mining farm embezzled electricity worth 938 million soums in Namangan
In the Namangan region, a household was identified where cryptocurrency was illegally mined.
According to the information of the PGO Department for Combating Economic Crimes, the Namangan District PGO Department, together with the DIA and the National Electricity Grid, carried out an operative event.
It was established that citizen A.K., living in the “Elatan” mahalla, connected 4 sets of cryptocurrency mining devices in his house to the public power grid for commercial purposes and caused damage to the state interests in the amount of 938.2 million soums.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 169 of the Criminal Code (theft), and an investigation is underway.
