In Kashkadarya, sambo fighter Tura Avlokulov died in the hospital as a result of an injury he received from an handmade weapon. The citizen who shot at him was caught by DIA officers when he tried to flee from the scene of the incident.
In the city of Shakhrisabz, Kashkadarya region, a citizen shot Tura Avlokulov, whom he had known beforehand. The incident was committed with a handmade weapon.
According to the information provided to Kun.uz by the Prosecutor General’s Office, the incident took place on March 29, 2024.
A citizen living in Shakhrisabz city saw another person whom he already knew while driving a Damas car, went to a café together and drank alcohol. After an hour, they left the café and met Tura Avlokulov; they took him in the car and went to another café.
Citizens argued over payment in a café. The civilian said that he gave 50,000 soums to Tura Avlokulov on the way, so he would pay for the meal in full. He returned the 50,000 soums he received, stating that he would not pay all the money. The citizen, not taking the money, got angry with him, took a handmade weapon from his car and shot his partner once in the head.
As a result, Tura Avlokulov was admitted to the emergency department of the Shahrisabz City Medical Association due to injuries. The citizen who shot him was trying to escape from the scene of the incident and was stopped by operatives of the district DIA about 500 meters away from the scene of the incident while driving his car.
In the certificate of the Shakhrisabz City Medical Association, Tura Avlokulov’s body is noted to have a severe open piercing brain injury, metal and bone fragments inside the brain, a fractured injury of the left frontal bone, a crushed tear on the left eyebrow, and his condition is extremely serious. He died in the hospital.
On this fact, the Shahrisabz district prosecutor’s office initiated a criminal case against the citizen under Article 25.97, Part 2, Paragraphs “d” and “l” of the Criminal Code (intentional murder in a manner dangerous to the lives of other persons as a result of hooliganism).
