USD exchange rate in commercial banks surpasses 12,700 UZS mark
The dollar sale rate in some banks has reached 12,710 UZS.

On Tuesday morning, several commercial banks have considerably raised the exchange rate of the dollar. Most banks are purchasing the US currency at 12,580-12,610 UZS per dollar; the selling rate ranges from 12,650 to 12,710 UZS.
Over the last half-month, the dollar selling rate in commercial banks increased by 100 UZS.
New exchange rates have been set at the following banks:
• Invest Finance Bank: purchase – 12,600, sale – 12,710;
• OFB, KDB Bank: purchase – 12,580, sale – 12,710;
• Hamkorbank, Asia Alliance Bank: purchase – 12,600, sale – 12,700.
It should be noted that the official exchange rate of the dollar from the Central Bank (as of April 2) stands at 12,645 Uzbek sums.
