Customs benefits expanded for textile industry enterprises
Until 2027, dyes, as well as various types of machinery and parts for them, are exempt from duties.
As it was previously reported, Shavkat Mirziyoyev issued a decree on May 1 regarding new measures for the development of the textile and knitwear industry.
Until January 1, 2027, imported materials, spare parts, and components used in the production of textile products not manufactured in Uzbekistan are exempt from customs duties.
The following items are covered under the benefits:
- Paints and varnishes based on synthetic or modified natural polymers, dissolved in aqueous or non-aqueous media;
- Printing ink, inks for pens or drawing;
- Coloring materials, inorganic phosphors;
- Adhesive or sticky substances;
- Engine oils, compressor and turbine lubricating oils;
- Electrical insulating oils;
- Pipes, tubes, hoses, fittings;
- Plates, sheets, film, tape, strip, and other flat forms of plastics;
- Taps, valves, geared devices for pipelines, boilers, tanks, cisterns, etc.;
- Pressure reduction valves for pressure regulation;
- Safety, relief, and control valves;
- Electrical transformers;
- Electrical distribution or control boards, desks, panels, consoles, etc.;
- Direct-current electric motors, multi-phase alternating-current motors;
- Electronic modules;
- Electronic lamps, tubes;
- Integrated circuits;
- Instruments and devices for automatic regulation or control;
- Industrial air conditioners with automatic temperature and humidity regulation.
