Citizens of Uzbekistan detained at Delhi airport for smuggling 5 kg of gold
Customs officers at Delhi airport took into custody two Uzbek citizens who arrived on a Dubai-Delhi flight for smuggling gold bars.

At the Delhi airport named after Indira Gandhi, two Uzbek citizens, who tried to illegally smuggle gold bars into the country, were detained, the customs service reports.
Allegedly, passengers arriving from Dubai had five gold bars weighing 5 kg worth 31.6 million rupees (about $380,000).
Citizens of Uzbekistan have been detained and an investigation has been launched.
