The collection comprises three coins united by a common artistic concept, highlighting Uzbekistan’s statehood, historical heritage, national values and modern development.
The first coin features the Independence Monument, symbolizing freedom, national pride and independent statehood. Rays of sunlight emerging from behind the monument represent the opportunities brought by independence and hopes for a brighter future. The reverse features Uzbekistan’s national flag.
The second coin depicts the Islamic Civilization Center in Tashkent, highlighting Uzbekistan’s contribution to global scholarship, spirituality and Islamic civilization. The national coat of arms appears on the reverse.
The third coin centers on the number 35, symbolizing the continuity of independence and the passing of historical responsibility to future generations. Its reverse features a line from Uzbekistan’s national anthem: “Olamni mahliyo aylagan diyor!” – “Land that has captivated the world!”
The coins are minted from 999.9-fineness gold and silver. Each weighs 31.1 grams and has a face value of UZS 100,000. They are available both individually and as a three-coin set.
The initial mintage is 450 gold coins and 800 silver coins. The Central Bank said production could be increased depending on demand.
