Saida Mirziyoeva: We will never retreat from the path of reforms
Saida Mirziyoyeva, assistant to the president, said at the conference held with the support of the World Trade Organization, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund that Uzbekistan will not back down from reforms aimed at economic development, development of social spheres and ensuring the rule of law.

Today, June 5, a conference was held in Tashkent with the support of the World Trade Organization, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. According to Saida Mirziyoyeva, assistant to the president, Uzbekistan’s bold steps towards joining the WTO were once again demonstrated at this event.
“We are determined to continue reforms aimed at supporting economic development, improving social protection, healthcare and education, as well as ensuring the rule of law. We will never deviate from this path, this is the destination of our country’s development.
Such goals can only be achieved through quality investments and global value chains.
Such support and confidence of the WTO leadership deserves high praise,” Saida Mirziyoyeva said.



The assistant to the president also met with WHO Director General Ngozi-Okonjo Iweala, who arrived in Tashkent.
