Individuals who are suspected of beating a citizen detained in Andijan

Several people brutally beat the man with iron objects and a bat. It is reported that a criminal case has been filed against them.

A video has circulated on social networks in which a group of people in Andijan beat a man with iron objects and a bat. The press service of the regional police department commented on this incident.

Reportedly, all those involved in the video distributed on the Internet were detained.

The investigative team of the Khojaabad district DIA opened a criminal case against them under Paragraph “i” of Article 105-2 of the Criminal Code (Deliberate infliction of moderate bodily injury by a group of persons).

It is noted that a preliminary investigation into the criminal case is currently underway.
