Uzbekistan sees 34.6% increase in outbound tourism in H1 2024

2.7 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes in the first half of the year.

According to the Statistics Agency, this figure increased by 701.9 thousand or 34.6% compared to the same period last year.

In the first 6 months of this year, the countries most visited by citizens of Uzbekistan for tourism purposes were:

Kyrgyzstan – 1,251.5 thousand
Tajikistan – 560.6 thousand
Kazakhstan – 420 thousand
Russia – 122 thousand
Saudi Arabia – 104.6 thousand
Türkiye – 91.8 thousand
UAE – 62.6 thousand
Egypt – 17.6 thousand
Kuwait – 16.7 thousand
South Korea – 10 thousand
Other countries – 73.1 thousand
