Issues emerge in new electricity billing system, users report unexpected debts
Social media users are complaining about unexpected debts and excessively high energy consumption on their electricity bills. The Regional Electric Networks JSC has advised against logging into your personal account for now.
The new billing system for electricity accounting is being actively discussed on social media.
Consumers have complained that payments are not reflected in their personal accounts; some have reported being in debt, while others have noticed a sharp increase in energy consumption.
The Tashkent City "Regional Electric Networks" Joint-Stock Company has urged citizens not to log into their personal accounts at the moment due to errors observed in the new system.
"Currently, specialists are working on updating the data between the new electricity accounting program and other payment systems. The update will be completed as quickly as possible. For now, we do not recommend monitoring balance information through the personal account," the statement said.
