President Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives Central Asian Leaders' Honorary Medal for advancing regional unity
During the latest Consultative Meeting, a ceremonial event was held where Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was awarded the Central Asian Leaders' Honorary Medal for his significant contributions to fostering friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual understanding among the countries of the region.

Expressing his gratitude to the Central Asian leaders, President Mirziyoyev emphasized that this prestigious award is a recognition of the collective achievements in strengthening regional cooperation and strategic partnership among their countries.
"Thanks to our political will and joint efforts, Central Asia has become a space of good neighborliness, mutually beneficial cooperation, and sustainable development," Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated in his speech.
He highlighted that as a result of coordinated activities, the volume of trade and investment has multiplied, large-scale cooperation projects are being implemented, and cross-border trade zones, value chains, and modern transport and energy infrastructure are being established.
The sense of solidarity and regional identity is growing stronger. Most importantly, these positive changes are being felt by the citizens of the region in their daily lives.
The president noted that with the strengthening of international subjectivity and the growing attractiveness of the region, Central Asia is becoming an economic activity center, a transport and communication bridge connecting East and West, North and South.
He also stressed that the process of rapprochement among the countries of the region has become stable, consistent, and irreversible, thanks to the systematic implementation of important initiatives and decisions.
In conclusion, Shavkat Mirziyoyev once again expressed his gratitude to the leaders for the high award, reaffirming that turning Central Asia into a peaceful and prosperous region remains a priority goal of Uzbekistan's foreign policy.
