Andijan region tops fruit production in Uzbekistan
According to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency, nearly 1.1 million tons of fruit were produced across all types of farms in Uzbekistan from January to June 2024.
This figure represents a 5.1% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
The Andijan region accounted for the largest share of the country's total fruit production, contributing 23%.
High levels of fruit production were also recorded in the Fergana (20%), Bukhara (12.6%), and Samarkand (8.5%) regions.
