Paris Paralympics 2024: Uzbekistan ranks 13th with 26 Medals
Uzbek athletes concluded the competition with 10 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze medals. They are set to return home today, September 9.

The 17th Summer Paralympic Games, held in Paris from August 28 to September 8, have officially concluded, according to the National Olympic Committee's press service.
Uzbekistan’s delegation finished the games with 10 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze medals, marking the best result in the history of the country's Paralympic team. This performance placed the team 13th in the medal standings.
It is noteworthy that Uzbekistan’s Olympic team achieved a similar ranking in the global standings earlier, finishing with 8 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
Uzbekistan’s Paralympic delegation will return to the country today, September 9.
The plane carrying the participants of the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games will land in Tashkent at 18:00.
The champions will be greeted in a ceremonial welcome at Tashkent Airport (local airport, Terminal 3). Following the ceremony, a motorcade will escort the Paralympians through the city.
