More than 10 students were hospitalized with suspected acute intestinal infections after drinking water.

According to the Children's Ombudsman, students at a specialized school in Almalyk City complained of health issues and were admitted to the infectious diseases ward after consuming unfiltered water on school premises. Between September 15 and September 19, 12 students were suspected of having acute intestinal infections.
It has been confirmed that the students' health is now improving, and seven of them have been discharged to continue treatment at home.
