Uzbekistan transforms Statistics Agency into National Statistics Committee

The Statistics Agency under the President of Uzbekistan is being reorganized into the National Statistical Committee, following a decree signed by Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

According to the document, the "Regional Statistics" information system will be launched by the end of 2025.

As part of expanded integration processes, the practice of reducing statistical reporting requirements and easing the burden on businesses will be introduced. To ensure data reliability, a system for generating statistical indicators based on the principle of "from neighborhood to republic" will be implemented.

Additionally, an AI-powered consultation service called "Analyst" will be introduced, enabling users to quickly access statistical information.

To provide the public with up-to-date and accurate statistical data and analysis, a media center will be established under the National Statistics Committee.
