Uzbekistan to purchase Iranian agro-drones and launch service infrastructure
The Iranian company Sirang UAV will supply Uzbekistan with modern agricultural drones and establish infrastructure for their maintenance. The corresponding agreement was signed during the visit of a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan to Iran.
Several agreements aimed at developing bilateral cooperation were concluded during the trip. In particular, a memorandum on the mechanization of agriculture and the expansion of technological partnership was signed with the Iranian Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers. Additionally, an agreement was reached with Sirang UAV for the supply of agro-drones to Uzbekistan and the creation of the necessary service infrastructure.
Furthermore, the Administrative and Economic Service, Bazargan Kala Co., and the National Center (AKIS) signed a contract providing for the testing and phased localization of 40 types of fertilizers and pesticides under the Nutritech brand in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, this visit was an important step in strengthening agricultural cooperation between the two countries, introducing innovative technologies, and developing new business ties in the agricultural sector.
