Uzbekistan to launch talks with U.S. on relaxing visa requirements for its citizens
Citizens of Uzbekistan may soon find it easier to travel to the United States, as negotiations aimed at simplifying visa requirements are set to commence. At the same time, the government of Uzbekistan is introducing a visa-free regime for U.S. citizens.

According to a presidential decree, U.S. nationals will be able to enter Uzbekistan without a visa for up to 30 days. This new regulation will take effect on June 1, 2025.
The decree also instructs relevant authorities to initiate negotiations with the United States to ease visa requirements for citizens of Uzbekistan. Following the conclusion of these talks, proposals are to be submitted based on the outcomes.
