France’s new ambassador to Uzbekistan presents credentials to Foreign Minister Saidov
France’s newly appointed ambassador to Uzbekistan, Walid Fouque, has officially assumed his duties.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs received a copy of the credentials from France’s newly appointed ambassador, Walid Fouque, FM Bakhtiyor Saidov wrote on his Telegram channel.
The minister emphasized that bilateral relations, which are grounded in a strong historical foundation, have developed at an unprecedented pace in recent years and have reached the level of strategic partnership.
“Today, our cooperation spans all areas – from the economy to culture. At the same time, significant potential remains, and realizing it requires further coordinated efforts by our diplomats,” the minister wrote.
Walid Fouque officially assumed his role as ambassador on 27 August.
